I had a similar problem when the weather was turning cold. It was the same tire. Inflate the "offending" tire when you get the message just enough that the message goes off. I had to do this maybe 3 times, checking, adding a psi or two, and checking again the next cold morning when pressure naturally is lower.
I read somewhere that the TPMs won't turn off their message (reset?) unless they sense a big enough increase in pressure. You may need to add 4psi and let out 2psi later or something.
Everybody assumes that a hand tire pressure guage is accurate, but I have my doubts. The "stick" gauges are hard to read anyway. Digital gauges look precise, but I had at least one with a low battery that I thought just made the display hard to read, but the pressure was off by 40%. I like the mechanical dial gauges.
