All depending on the fault codes and how the throttle was operating when tested, it can be a faulty throttle body but it can also be electrical gremlins that could be very hard to track down.
I went around in circles on a 2005 and still had a problem after I replaced the throttle body. It only triggered the code (P-2135) and limp home mode every 3-4 months or so.
On the other hand, I had an 06 with bad throttle body where when I was running the test using my Tech 2, I could hear and feel the throttle body making some strange noises. Codes in that case was P-1523 and 0638.
When I opened up the sealed chamber on the bad one I found a couple of plastic teeth broken off on some gears inside. So that was a pretty clear cut case
