It would help us more if we know the fault code, model, engine and transmission.
But if it is determined beyond any doubts that the SLU solenoid is bad, replace complete valve body or if the roughly $2300.00 for that repair is to big of a guess, replace the transmission.
So it is a lot of money at stake to take fast guesses.
