Yes, I realized that. But eventually a toddler seat will be required too, so your experience is be worth noting.
The Graco infant seat may or may not be feasible as my wife and I are both tall. My wife is looking at a an Orbit Baby infant seat, it has a base that allows the baby carrier to lock in at any angle and then spin to lock in the rear facing position. This may be good as my wife's back is not so great due to old sports injuries, and this design my reduce the amount of bending and turning required while lifting the carrier. The down side is that the Obrbit Baby equipment is $$$.
