What your describing is caused by a defective door lock/latch assembly. The lock solenoid and door ajar switch are all incorporated within. You need to scan for DTCs with a Tech2 to identify what latch has failed. I always go into the alarm menu and look at alarm causes to confirm the DTC fault before replacement.
