The Tech who performed the work sheepishly admitted that the problem was very easy to spot. He had neglected to fully seat one of the evap lines on its connector. No charge for Monday's appointment which coincided with a planned stay-cation day for me.
I filled the tank on the drive home, maybe that was a bad idea, and we haven't yet consumed enough fuel to drop below the 3/4 point. Per Anders, below 3/4 full is when the evap system is checked for vapor leaks on each start-up. The new gas cap arrived from eEuro as well but it is still in the box. I need to install this cap before our long drives this weekend.
