2010 Saab 9-3 Lowbeam replacement: Manual nuts? Posted by Ari [Email] (#2847) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Ari) on Sun, 4 Dec 2016 22:58:47 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Hi - When I replace the low beam halogen bulbs in my 2010 9-3, my experience has always been that the bulbs are inserted into the reflector with the wires at the 4:00 position, and then you twist clockwise 45 degrees so that, when you're done, the wires are at the 6:00 position.
And, recently, the (former) dealer service department changed a bulb for me, and that's how they did it, too.
But I just noticed that the owner's manual (at page 220) depicts the wires, when the bulb is installed, at the 12:00 position; 180 degrees from how I've been doing it.
Is the manual wrong, or am I? Thanks!
