Certainly, a soda filled ISM could play tricks too.
It's just another case of "ever since you worked on it" syndrome.
The SCL is not behind steering wheel, per see, but above brake pedal. It's a square metal box attached to the steering column.
The CIM sits behind steering wheel.
Door lock/latch modules are almost always the problem when the door lock does not work. Especially if it is one or two door locks going in and out when hot or cold outside.
