In the vacuum created by Saab's demise, the parts manufacturing process have been shaken and you never know what is the norm anymore.

But to be fair, even when they were building cars, part sources kept changing and it wasn't until 06 that Saab introduced the Akebono pad which to me was a success.
For awhile there were three different part numbers of front brake pads for the 9-3/9-5 model and 2 for the 9-3SS (not counting super sessions) and if you ordered them from Saab, you got three different brands, so only one number gave you the Akebono brand.

Now, all those numbers are null and voided and no matter which one of them you enter, you get the same Pagid brand (for now).

Here are the numbers I have collected just for the 9-3SS front pads through the years (not counting 06 up Aero big brakes).

99900004, 93188111, 93188112 ATE brand, 93185751, 12803551, 93166943
I use the Akebono EUR972 with good results.

As for the coils, I would not use anything else than the ones that have the Saab and Mitsubishi name printed on them wherever you can find them.
