This is the difficulties with giving advice over the internet.
I cannot remember each Saabnet member cars so I did not remember yours as Aero with the V6 engine.
It's a good practice to list car specs in the first post even if it has been mentioned on another post further down.
What was the reason for the pump to be replaced. Was it completely dead or did it trigger the same code P0089?
The first I do when I see that code is to replace fuel pressure regulator and look at certain live data with the Tech 2 during a test drive. Specifically, I look at fuel pump duty cycle.
This value gives me a hint of what shape the pump is in. 35% at idle and 65% at WOT is usually the spec with a brand new pump.
40-50% at idle and 94.5% at WOT are signs of a worn pump. And if the car is misfiring and bucking during WOT, the pump is on its last leg.
If the pump is dead on arrival, the car will receive a fuel pressure sensor as well as part of the pump replacement due to their high failure rates unless I have replaced it already at an earlier visit.
The 2.0L pump and V6 pump cannot be exchanged due to that the 2.0L pump have a fuel return line which the V6 does not have due to the on demand fuel pump system.
So unless the shop have already replaced the fuel pressure sensor, I would start there and take a reading of fuel pump duty cycle during test drive.
And also, reset fuel adaptions since the car might be holding on to fuel settings based on the worn pump.
Like I mentioned in the first post that the car might be too happy from the full fuel pressure again.
