We all know the 2.0T in the 9-3 requires 6 liters or 6-1/3 quarts. One time when I changed the oil in my wife's car I forgot to add the 6th quart. I emptied the 5 quart jug but since I hadn't purchased an additional one quart bottle I forgot all about it.
I checked the oil level, freaked out seeing it low, thought back to the most recent oil change, realized what I had done, bought and added the missing 6th quart, no problems since.
