Hello,
Good Luck. I have replaced quite a few uec for no starts were it takes down the P bus but have only a few were it wasn't powering lights such as headlights. I have always just plugged in a spare and its been good. The only oddball things I have seen has been a few were the pins were loose in the connector and sliding out when plugged in. And 1 body shop car were the one of the grounds for the uec was loose. I think it was the one under the dash but it may have been one of the ones near the uec. Good Luck, Bernie
PS: Atleast its not the tire pressure module on a bmw that takes down half the car.
