Wow, selling after all that sweat equity! I *made* my daughter upgrade(?) from a '93 C900 CV with autotragic to '06 CV with automatic when she left home. I think it's a much better and safer car, certainly far less needy than the older model, but she has never forgiven me, I am reminded every time we see a C900 CV. Of course, the C900 with automatic was a tragic thing, the 9-3 automatic is not really so bad although I must confess I haven't attempted to run north of the century mark. The only time I ever tried that was with my '78 99 EMS at 2 a.m. and that was because I wanted to see where redline was in 4th gear (indicated 108). Living in the northeast rust belt, sadly, my SPG is relegated to summer/fall duty. Bless you bobwithasaab, keep the C900 faith!
