Thanks for the photo, Dave! Yes, that's how I ended up connecting mine. After that it was just a matter of positioning the wiper arms correctly on the shafts and then torquing them down. Here are a few other things that I learned: When connecting the tab on the linkage to the wiper motor, pull the linkage down a bit from the position in Dave's photo, so that you can slip the tab over the shaft and get the nut started on the threads, then put everything in the proper position and use a 12mm open end wrench to tighten the nut, making sure that the motor shaft does not turn in the process. When replacing the plastic cowl cover, lay it in place so that both sides sit under the hood hinges first. As the WIS says, start on the driver's side (US) and slid the tab under the cowl sheet metal, get the corner piece in position at the fender seam, and carefully position the fasteners (attached to the underside of the cover) over the holes, push down to seat them. Repeat on right side. When removing or installing the left wiper arm, it helps to first remove the small plastic trim piece at the cover of the hood there. Otherwise it may interfere with your puller. Good luck getting the trim piece back on. I think that's it. Thanks again Anders and Dave
