The best approach, if you are the DIY type, is to figure out what in the PCV system has failed. There are some pretty common items to check: valve cover to oil trap hose (splits at top bend), check valve in valve cover to throttle body hose (fails, allows pressure from intake into crankcase), oil trap (small hole in outlet blocked). Check all the hoses and make sure that the flow of blowby from the valve cover to the intake is unimpeded and that the hoses are intact. Fix whatever's wrong and I'll bet your leak goes away without doing any of the so-called PCV fixes.
