I don’t recall the details of what was changed, but when I was at the Aero Academy this came up. The line manager said 02+ idles a little rougher than the pre-02 cars. Saab tried to improve something and in the process added some roughness. My 03 is sometimes pretty smooth, sometimes not, but when I get in other family cars with say a V6 I sure notice how rough the 9-5 is.
