Good to hear this made a difference!
Actually, I now remember: when I read about this on the Edmunds site I wondered what the "Weather Band" button is ... Well, it turns out that EU and US versions are slightly different. I also found out in the end by trying various other buttons after first getting the "test mode".
This, in fact, brings up another question: I presumed the point of this "test mode" is to point out which speaker is the culprit if the sound is bad, but I've noticed when counting that I only hear seven different speakers - not nine. How come?
Regards,
Caspar
