Hi. What sorts of places do powder coating? Body shops? Collision shops? I guess finding someone who knows how to properly clean the wheel parts before the job is also important, no? I don't have a place to work on the wheels myself, so I think that proper disassembly is also kind of a big issue for me. Is this a hopeless task if I have to farm out the whole job?
I did lot of DIY jobs on my old 9000T, but I'm only really comfortable around electrical and minor mechanical stuff. I'd have to get the wheels unmounted and disassembled before I could take 'em in for the powder coating job.
TIA for your advice.
