Was watching Speedvision last night and just happened to catch
the road test of the 9-5 wagon. No new insights were gained.
They had a lot of favorable things to say with only a few not
so favorable: "the leather seats are comfortable, but soft side
supports don't offer much support", "The Saab is a great joy
to drive - sporty running gear and a turbo charged engine",
"The light steering lacks sensitivity", "A bit of torque steer that
was made unpleasant when the TCS kicks in", and finally,
"The Saab estate is not an over blown family car - it's stylish
yet subtle exterior makes no pretense of dynamism, but
certainly suits the superior yet understated station wagon."
0-100 kmh in 6.9 sec., 60 - 0 mph in 127 feet.
