Probably yes.....read below Posted by Herb Hirsch [Email] (#114) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Herb Hirsch) on Mon, 13 Aug 2007 15:11:40 In Reply to: Do know if there is bluetooth available for -06 W/Nav, dudethe9-5isfast, Mon, 13 Aug 2007 07:41:22 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
In my post I intended to say that my comments and summary applied only to a 2006-2007 9-5 without OnStart and without Navigation. I did this because that is the configuration I have experience with.
The good news is that both Saab's Bluetooth and TEL1 adapter prepartion instructions include specific steps that are for 9-5's with navigation. I qualified my comments to fit my unique recent experience. If that recent experience including the components and installation instructions is any indication....THEN....the kits and instructions I referenced should be fine. Just be careful to use the sections for "Cars with Navigation". Differences I noticed include:
1. For the TEL1 cable, wiring to the navigation unit goes to different connector and pin designations.
2. Removal of the navigation unit requires a special Saab tool.
3. Virtually all of the differences involve wiring of the TEL1 cable to the navigation unit instead of the radio.
