Installed it, turned ignition and got the good ol' "Check OK."

Now they say it has a lifetime warranty... but even if it goes another 4 years I'd say that was the best $35 spent on the car.

I wouldn't bother soldering/sourcing new batteries. Let these guys break it open and do their stuff. What's your time worth? ;-)
