Hi All,
I am about to find myself an owner of a single-owner, 50K miles, 2004 9-5, having taken a chance on our favorite auction site and landing it with a max bid of $8K. I know that many of you would probably cringe at buying a car sight unseen, but the carfax checks out and there appear to be no accidents or other issues. Of course I've never done the before and can still back out if it is not in the condition described. All that said, I'd like to get some advice from the 9-5 experts -- what should I be checking for when I go pick it up? My local Saab mechanic has advised to check for the obvious oil concerns, head gasket leaks, and that the ACC system is functioning properly. Any other things you all can advise? Thanks!
