question about j16 connection

I have intermittently had the P0134 code for the past week or so and with all the suggestions on this BB and others pointing to the J16 junction I figured I'd take care of it today. Once into the wiring harness there was nothing resembling a junction at 20mm from the ECU connector. There were three or four connectors actually right at the zip tie holding the wire bundle to the ECU connector. I found a post stating that the single wire from j16 goes into pin #58. Indeed there is a black wire from #58 that goes into a junction. SWEDECAR mentioned:
You have to dig out the Trionic box and 20mm from the tie strap at ECU connector inside the main wire bundle is the J16 splice.
The splice is covered with shrink tubing and it is a blue and a grey wire coming in on one side and a black wire coming out.
The other end of the junction has a blue wire and a grey wire so despite being right next to the ECU connector I figure this is the one. Before I start cutting wires, though, I want to be sure. The black wire from #58 is only maybe 3 inches long. The blue and grey wires are less than 2 inches long and both go into separate junctions. I was under the impression that those two wires came directly from the O2 sensors. Am I still looking at the right junction?
Thanks for your input.
Dan
