Almost done with mine....... Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Wed, 13 Oct 2010 04:18:42 In Reply to: Vacum hose diagram, Gargoyle, Tue, 12 Oct 2010 23:35:17 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I got all the Turbo BPV lines replaced, and the fuel pressure regulator line. I still need to replace the lines going to the Coolant By-Pass solenoid and valve. Then yesterday I remembered there is a line hiding under the turbo heat shield that feeds the Waste Gate actuator. I hope the 10 ft of line I bought will be enough! I suspect some owners have chosen to not replace the coolant BPV lines, FPR line, or waste gate line.
The hardest line to fit was the connection at my turbo by-pass valve. I have a Forge brand valve with a replacement hose barb (from Forge) which has a HUGE rolled end. Using a 4mm to 6mm adapter and a short piece of 6mm line would have been the best method, but the 4mm silicone finally relented and slipped over the fitting.
