I don't know how big of an impact ride height has. It seems that camber is pretty severe on all 9-5 and not so much in difference if they ride high or low.
Where do you read the ride height in WIS. I have been all over it and clicked on any possible short cuts but cannot find any reference to ride height and how to measure it, only the alignment specs for toe and camber and how to adjust those.
Do you have an older WIS or late one? Can you list a path to where you found it.
I just use a tape measure to get a rough idea of where they ride and it seems that the Aero is about 25 1/2 to 3/4" and the non Aero roughly 26 1/2 to 3/4" from floor to wheel well edge.
All of them also lean over 1/2" on driver side and when I install the Bilstein shocks they lift about 1/2" from original measurements but it doesn't seem to affect the camber that much.
Looking through some alignment reports from where I have them done it looks like Saab has decided to use more camber than any other car makes out there and I don't know why that is.
Bad shocks is just as a bad contributor to scalloped tires since the tire is allowed to bounce rapidly on the surface without you even knowing it, and we know the 9-5 have bad shocks in the rear from get go.
Only recently have a I started to see some minor play in the ball joint style bushings and none have been bad enough to replace yet. So those seems to have been holding up pretty well through the years.
I think it is many small issues that adds up on the 9-5 and together they make a big deal and it wears tires prematurely.
Cheap tires with exotic threads I also see creating strange wear pattern compared to tried and true Michelin and Continental.
