As I posted before: "I put koni sports on my wife's 04 Aero wagon, too harsh with 225/45R-17 Goodyear Eagle F1 A, feel every crack in the road.
Put FSD's on my 03 Aero Wagon, really nice with 225/45R-17 Firestone Firehawk tires which have good performance, very affordable and ride smooth. I installed the shocks my self and slotted upper lateral arm at the rear hub to get caber in spec with shock on upper spring perch position. May add spacers some day. No road fatigue. "
Impression not changed. The Sports on an Aero with Goodyear Eagle F1 A are too harsh. The setup on the '04 still is a great performer and seductive. As we have both setups, we see the differences over and over again over time. That perspective is a lot different from someone who changes a setup on one vehicle who then makes evaluations over time VS a memory.
I did not want to go into this level yet as we have not had the OP respond with any objectives other than perhaps spending less on shocks, but willing to spend money on new springs - objective unclear.
