engine light after oil change

9-5 2007 - I got an oil change from a reputable saab mechanic this morning and this evening my yellow engine light came on. I did notice a slight sucking sound during acceleration just prior and now. I am thinking (hoping) it was something that came unseated during the oil change. I am going to poke around in the morning when there is light but any recommends for what to check?
