I like using my specialty jack. Sears sold this years ago. It allows me to jack the car up and then unlock the safety stand and leave it under the car. Check out the photo below. The 2 safety stands are pictured unattached, that 3rd one is gets used like a regular floor jack and remains with the jack. I can jack the car up from 3 locations simultaneously.
