PCV valves

Fellers. My 2003 Aero, with 201k, recently developed a pretty significant oil leak on the passenger side. It took out the accessory belt before I realized it was leaking. This has been accompanied by major accumulation of white/tan goo on the dipstick (which I posted about a few weeks ago), both of which are suggesting over-pressure in the crankcase. I took it to the shop, they cleaned out the valve cover where the PCV system vents (but noted the internals were very clean so they weren't sure if this could have been the problem) and replaced one of the PCV hoses. They observed the car and noted no new leaking, I've done the same in limited time.
Previous related work done includes the PCV6 update @ 135k, leaking oil pump and timing chain cover and an unspecified gasket on the engine block @ 180k. I have verified for the last month that there is no coolant leak.
Going forward I'm obviously going to keep an eye out for the leak and goo on the dipstick. The car is due now for an oil change so it's getting a fresh fill soon. Might put a new dipstick with the tan tip in, as it appears the entire thing is roughly the same price as just the gasket.
The other thought I had was to replace the PCV valve(s). I did the PCV mod myself, but it was a while back. there's what appears to be a single valve easily visible at the top of the engine, and I recall a second down lower on the back of the engine, with some sort of insulating wrap around it. Is this correct and may it be prudent to replace both? Amazon carries a URO valve (item 91 89 564) for $7. Thanks,
jeff
