Hard starts in cool weather Posted by adl6009 [Email] (#2526) [Profile/Gallery] (more from adl6009) on Sun, 4 Oct 2015 10:20:22 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
All summer no problems. As soon as the weather cooled off, and I'm not even talking cold, it was in the 50'sF and the car is hard to start the first start of the day. After that it starts right up. All summer started up no problem. Last year I thought maybe the winter fuel mix, but I don't think thats out yet here. Then I also considered battery problems, but it passed the test last year.
What happens is the car will crank and crank without firing at all. After several tries she fires up and runs fine. It gets to the point where I worriede about the battery. All day long no problem starts right up. Next morning same problem.
I checked with my reader and it says the ecu has no codes.
Any ideas? What should I look at next? Thanks for the help.
