SID (ICM) Replacement and Reprogramming Posted by Doug W [Email] (#2371) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Doug W) on Mon, 22 Feb 2016 20:15:51 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
We've had enough of the random chimes and messages. After deciding it was most likely not seat wiring or sensors we decided to replace the SID / ICM on our '04 9-5 Sport Kombi.
My question is: What needs to be reprogrammed when the SID is replaced? We're aware the radio and SID need to be "joined" to the same SN chassis. Are the headlight functions affected? We have a rather spiffy "Euro2" setting for our lights. Is anyone aware of any other programming that may need to be done? Can it be done with a properly configured Snap-On Veris, or do I need a Tech2?
