I used Interstate for 20 or more years , but some of their product has declined in quality , I now run an AutoCraft Gold T6 . Got it @ carquest/advanced , made in Germany . So far so good {one year }

These cars need fresh batteries . After 36 months or so start shopping . 48 months is turn out time .

The hidden problem is the battery cables , they get funky with age .

Be sure to install a fully charged battery { 12.6 v DC min. } I always check and use a battery charger to juice up the replacement . The alternator can really take a beating when it is forced to recharge a dull battery .

Good Luck , and be Safety Aware !
I always wear a full face shield when working with batteries ,even though they are sealed , cracks can spill Acid . And sparks fly .
