Used one on my x300 - seemed to work fine. If you are in a cold climate like Canada, an AGM battery might be a good fit but I understand they don't do as well in hot or desert climates. The 9-5's have a battery cover with a fresh air intake at the bottom of the battery tray providing cooling air. Any new to Saab 9-5 owners should ensure it's in place and unobstructed. I just replaced a higher end flooded Interstate with 84 mo pro-rated warranty with a Canadian Tire "Eliminator" AGM Group 48/Euro H6 battery that's been getting good reviews.. The interstate lasted 5 years and 1 month and may have lasted longer but he drained it out at the drive-in Sat night. I guess the 8 or so speakers humming along for 4-5 hrs were enough to tip it over the brink.
