I thought I'd try the long belt/lower idler setup to resolve some vibration. The pulley came with one short bolt, one a bit longer/larger, and spacer. The mounting boss is there and the smaller bolt fit. Once on, the pulley scrapes the timing cover. Am I missing a part? I read one post that said I have all the parts I need. Another said there is a mounting plate?
By the way, in the process of reinstalling the short belt over the PS pulley, I found one of the bolts for the bracket (#31) above it stripped, and the other bolt loose. Apparently the source of shudder at startup. I guess a helicoil can be installed once the pump is removed. One bolt and JB Weld should hold it until then.
