Battery held in place? Posted by Navid [Email] (#2069) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Navid) on Sat, 28 Jan 2017 20:35:53 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Hi all, simple question on something i never noticed.
The battery was installed by CAA/AAA and they strap wasn't 100% tight on the battery. I mean the battery can still lift up by an inch, it has room to "jump up" if you know what I mean. I believe there is a little lip in the battery tray.
Is the battery strap the only thing holding the battery down?
On mine, there is a bolt that goes through the battery strap and is screwed down. However, tightening the bolt all the way down doesn't pull the strap tightly snug.
Just wondering if there is anything I am missing that should be in the battery tray holding the battery down, other than the strap and the long bolt that goes through the strap.
