I'm wondering this too. My 01 with Akebono Euro in the back and Saab OEM pads up front is noticeably grabbier than my 03 Aero with Akebono Euro all around. I've considered whether there's an MC issue causing that difference, but it might just be the pads, especially in light of more recent comments about the Euro pads. Initial bite might not correlate with actual stopping power. The Euro are likely fine in real world use. I did run Greenstuff long ago. Those have medium color dust but the dust might be easier to clean. Perhaps someone with more recent EBC experiences will chime in. The Pagid/Textar pads were popular a while back, but I've not seen as much talk about them with the 9-5 lately as I recall they have lots of dust and wear rotors (similar to OEM). An upside to the Euro and maybe EBC Greenstuff is that you can get at least two sets of pads to one set of rotors. For non-Aeros, it may not matter. In the past at least, larger Aero rotors were costly.
At 60k, you might just run those pads and rotors out and then start with new rotors. You could experiment with pads if you're DIY as the cost is fairly low.
