So, I started getting some longer cranks when starting and figured that since I was coming up on the 3 year warranty mark, I should check out the battery.

When I got home from work the other day, I used my code reader to do a quick battery and charging check. Battery came back suspect and charging was good.

I went over to Sears, they did a quick test that said I should replace the battery. When I mentioned warranty they then said they needed to do a more comprehensive test with the battery out of the car. That came back bad as well, so I ended up with a new battery (48 AGM).

Aggrevating that their quick test was enough to sell me a new battery, but they needed to do more to warranty it. At any rate, it all worked out in the end. The service guy was polite and pleasant.
