New rear Bilsteins- spacer question
Posted by SRS900S [Email] (more from SRS900S) on Thu, 6 Apr 2017 19:18:44
My car with OEM shocks is about 1" to 1.25" low (non-Aero suspension) and due to trunk loading and passengers I was going to install 1.5" spacers and then do a full overhaul next year, front/rear/bushings... then I found out my rear shocks are both leaking.
My brand-new Bilsteins will be here tomorrow but my existing spacers will not fit so I need another set. Given the new shocks, should I stick with the 1.5" or go with what I actually need as of right now- 1"?? These will be made locally so I can select any height I want.
