ACC - Temp setting needs to be increased compared to prior Posted by mlc [Email] (#1747) [Profile/Gallery] (more from mlc) on Tue, 25 Apr 2017 12:28:18 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
just replaced the whole mess of heater bypass hoses and bypass valve, after my coolant bypass hose blew last week... All went well (but those clamps are annoying!)..
I noticed after topping off the system with dexcool, that the temp setting now needs to be raised an additional few degrees to get the same output of heat, as i previously was receiving.. (talking about 55F outside temp, with acc set to 70.. now need to set it at 74 to get similar output). .Not a big deal. .but just curious what could be causing this? Does the system sense outside vs cabin temp.. and apply. .or does it monitor coolant temp? or both?
BTW.. i did repair the blend door a few weeks ago.. and its been working fine (no acc codes). and i've recalibrated a few times.. ANd I did the radiator/hoses/thermostat/coolant sensor back in December.. so those are all new..
