Right, there are senders with an extra connection for the light that may be compatible with the 9-5's which would make the manifold unnecessary. Just need to find someone who knows whether or not it's possible to fit just a sender/adapter combination and what brand, if they differ in size. Thanks.
Just found that egauges offers a VDO sender with M14x1.5 fitting so no adapter necessary. And better chance it can scoot in there w/o touching the starter. Also offer an inexpensive kit with metric adapters. And warning at 7.1 psi. But goes only to 80 psi. Wonder if that's enough for startup pressures.
