Nissens radiator question

Eeuroparts lists a Nissens radiator for my 2004 9-5 arc and the information states that it is for both auto and manual transmissions. My saab is manual.
It looks like there are plastic caps where the tranny lines would go.
My question is: Is this radiator just as good as one for a manual transmission only? and do I have to be concerned about the plastic caps? e.g. a potential weak spot given that part of the radiator is not used.
Thanks
J
