oh COOL! that actually mayhaps useful as you don't need the auto trans cooler part, the compartment of the radiator you could use it for an additional oil cooler! Or a power steering fluid cooler ( run the fluid thru it ! just have some lines made up) EASY! OR put a small electric pump and plumbing, hoses to the manual transmission and have a manual transmission cooler radiator (many high-performance cars like the corvette have one ! ) it would help keep the temperature consistent might improve the transmission longevity, you could also put in an inline filter for it! I've often thought of additional external coolers for the power steering, (ford used them for years ) engine oil, and the manual transmission! even w/ the extra coolers on the Corvette it easily overheats in the desert heat (hell it overheated at a track in Georgia @ 80 F ! ) and then the ECU will reduce power! and GM has a test track in Arizona! obviously, many cars are NOT designed w/ proper engineering for extremes of heat and could benefit from being re-engineered, having additional cooling aids fitted.
