Worked on my wife's 2001 9-5 Aero wagon yesterday.
Replace the A?C air filter....way overdue.
I felt the recirc was not working. Boy, was I right. Burned out resistor on the board. Broken arm on the actuation part. I took a spare motor with a broken gear and good circuit board apart and made one good motor. I had bought an are from the Saabsite.
I read that many of these arms and motors are bad.....so right...wo much more flow now on the recirculation position.
BEST THING is the motor went in with 1 TRY......THAT never happens it is so hard to align......my lucky day I guess!!!
