For future searchers, I replaced it today and it turned out to be fairly easy from the bottom using a T30 and a 3/8" drive. Although it was frustrating at first, trying from the top, then the bottom; I nearly gave up. Then the torx bit went in, turned and loosened the screw. Luckily, I could get it out the rest of the way by hand. And don't worry, you'll get the screw back in. If you don't have unusually large hands, you'll be able to push the cps - all the way in - put the shield in place - it will stay there, then, once the holes are aligned, turn the screw until it's snug, by hand. When I first read Boris' post, I thought he left out one word, "NOT" too easy. But he was right.
