thanks for posting this link. Interesting how these things break in almost all 9-5s eventually and they go undetected.
For one thing they don't show up as a fault on the ACC test.
And the difference is subtle.......but you can feel it if you turn off the radio and listen for a change in the flow and noise as you cycle the recirc button.
Tech 2 will tell you that you pushed the button, but not that the recirc really is working.
My grand kids were complaining to my wife that her 2001 Aero wagon had not cool air in the back this weekend on a 100 degree day......I am now a hero because there is nice flow out of the back vents now. [I also replaced the filter which was really dirty.]
I am buying up a couple more eBay recirc motors!!!
