I check the valve and it's fine. What's not fine is the hard vacuum line that runs from the brake booster to a T where one line runs to the vacuum pump and the other to the manifold. I broke this line at one of the check valves when replacing a starter or some such. I fixed it with JB Weld. Well, the JB weld is starting to give up. I think it's time for a new vacuum line.
Today I got all kinds of nice codes: P1171, P0455, and P1181. All pointed to the crankcase vent / vacuum system. The gas cap wasn't fully seated either. Wife thinks it's too hard to turn the cap all the way home until it clicks. OpCom and WIS are indispensable for any tech savvy SAAB DIYer.
