I've got 4 Saab 9-5s, ranging from 2001 to 2006 and 91,000 to 221,000 miles.
All are daily drivers, and I just got back in the 2006 from a 6,277 mile California and back road trip.
In many ways the '04 with the 221,000 miles on it is the least problematic one of the four.
Unless you have no room, what would we accomplish by selling? You don't get anything, and a lower mileage "mystery to you" car will need prophylactic care to cover all the tasks the other fellow didn't do or did wrong.
I think you just drive them until the timing chain falls off. I know folks get uneasy using a high mileage 9-5 as their only ride, and my solution is not for everyone but I feel pretty secure with 4 examples - no way they'll all go away at the precise same time.
My parents have an '84 900 Hatch with about 400,000 miles on it. Start with a stout, well designed car and just hang in there.
