So Boris, I am at this thing today and getting no success with the white plastic double-sided push/release at the oil trap.
(Access is horrible as you said. You can either do the left arm around the back from the standing position with fingers fumbling blindly or get underneath and reach up with channel locks or such.)
I am concerned that although the part seems tough enough I don't know how tough the male part at the oil trap is and how hard to go.
My question is, which is the weakest?
The oil trap piece or the hose piece that I am trying to take off? Should I maybe cut the old one and force it off?
I just don't wanna mess up the oil trap and create more issues/work/$$$.
