A good [old-time] hardware store will have tons of them, organized nicely in boxes. It just takes some patience to find the right size. Bring the piece that will receive the o-ring.
If you find yourself in need of o-rings frequently (like me) you could buy a set. I have this one:

To grease o-rings I use "SuperLube" synthetic grease. It's pricey but it's the best. use sparingly.
