stumped - no/little heat... all vents Posted by mlc [Email] (#1747) [Profile/Gallery] (more from mlc) on Mon, 9 Oct 2017 05:56:01 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I'm officially stumped, regarding my 2001 9-5 lpt.. I replaced the heater core, and still have no real heat.. it's a little better, but not hot like it should be..
Recap:
1)No ACC codes.. comes up zero
2)i disconnected all 3 stepping motors.. and opened/closed flaps manually.. with no change
3) I replaced radiator and heater bypass valve on firewall, along with thermostat back in January... so I doubt they're at play.. Engine warms up.. top radiator hose gets hot once thermostat opens.. And I felt all 3 hoses comming off the bypass valve. and they are all hot
Any suggestions? I was thinking maybe some type of air pocket trapped in core.. but I would have though swapping out the new core would address that?
